WLOC network hosted a packed flagship event at the We Mean Business Coalition Pavilion to discuss women’s leadership for transformative climate action.
Over 100 climate leaders in politics, business, and civil society signed the Women Leading on Climate Advocacy Letter calling for strong climate plans from world leaders. This letter was presented to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, an ardent supporter of WLOC.
#COP29 Campaign
The campaign empowered women worldwide to share their story and demand more ambitious climate leadership.
The campaign demonstrated a desire for spaces where women can lead the conversation on climate justice, including voices from climate influencers like Vanessa Nakate, Sophia Kianni, Arizona Muse, and Tori Tsui.
In 2025, the momentum sparked by #WomenLeadingonClimate will continue to amplify women’s leadership, catalyzing the change our planet needs.
