In a standing-room-only session, WLOC’s flagship event showcased how diverse women leaders of all ages and from all regions are shaping both the pace and direction of climate action. It is also a moment to recognize and showcase Brazil’s leadership: the Brazilian WLOC Chapter is already well established and is co-led by COP30 Special Envoy for the Private Sector Marina Grossi, reflecting the country’s central role in global climate diplomacy.

On the first day of COP30, Monday November 10, we launched a campaign encouraging women and girls around the world to raise their voices on Instagram and LinkedIn using #WomenLeadingOnClimate #COP30.
Women and girls to made it clear that we are united in climate action globally and are building solutions for our planet. We know that the energy transition is unstoppable and that the time to act is now. Women around the world are delivering bold climate action, and we call on others to step up as well.
