Indian Chapter
The India Chapter of WLOC is developed and convened by CEEW. It works to elevate women’s leadership in climate action across India and the Global South by amplifying voices, showcasing solutions, and strengthening pathways for leadership.
WLOC India brings together stakeholders from across India and across sectors—including government, industry, and civil society—acting as a “convener of convenors.” The Chapter will spotlight positive stories and voices through listening circles, national and global platforms, awards and recognition, thought leadership, and digital storytelling.

Co Chair India Global Women on Climate at Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW)
Career civil servant with over three decades of public policy and governance experience in healthcare, finance, education, disaster management, and peacekeeping at the district, state, and federal levels and in international organizations as part of the Indian Administrative Service and the United Nations. Takemi Fellow from Harvard University’s School of Public Health and currently heading the Department of General Administration of the state of Maharashtra (India).
